My tribute to Cancers - The Caribbean Crab Collection!

Posted on Jul 3rd, 2008 by Sherrilene : Peace Warrior Sherrilene
Hi everyone

So I have loads of history surrounding Cancers, by far some of the most hard-hitting, impactful relationships I have had in my life has been related to Cancers over time. Here at GAIA , I have met some incredible people [Jon, heemes, Lucid, Ariela... probably even more I'm forgetting at this time].

In my continued efforts to bring a big and beautiful view to everything in my space, I've decided to follow the bread crumbs and put out a tribute to Cancers! The bread crumb trail I'm speaking of is the fact that it seems everywhere I turn in my walking near the beaches, crabs are practically running out at me and saying 'Hey, here I am!' The fellas are not even running away when approached... The fellas are halting for photos! So, here they are!

This one is my personal favourite! Look at the colours!!

So, blessings to Cancers this astrological season and continued outreaching to greet you in friendship.

Peace and love!

Thank You Sherri!

The last pic of the King Crab is adorable, LOL…and I love those red crabs! I sure do remember those from Trinidad! Yes, you do have an affinity with crabs, animal and astrological! (You probably have some Cancer in your birth chart)

I appreciate the tribute! We’re some emotional people, so we’re probably all tearing up right about now, LMAO :-D But oh so strong too ;-)

Thanks love, I will pass it on to some other MoonChildren~~<3>

Hi Sherri,
   Res told me about your Cancer tribute, so of course being a Moonchild (July 14) , I had to head over here to check it out.  Where are you, girl?  (will check yr. profile ;>))  Isn't it unusual to have so many crabs running around?  They are cute when you see their little faces, but I prefer my crabs on TV, or in National Geographic magazine., or errr..in a salad;

Cool! Great to hear from you. I'm an Earth Girl myself [Virgo], so I love the outdoors thus my regular walks near the beach [in Barbados]. They - the crabs - are harmless and cute to me, and yes, quite protective of self. But they're all a part of this big lovely universe of ours and worth embracing for them selves.

Glad you could enjoy. Best to you! sherri

hehe Both are cool; I like a lot. That vid on the Xmas crab is something I don't even want to dream about in person. Thank goodness our fellas here are fewer and further between, and perennial. Just had visions of x million red crabs a-pinching hahaha

Thanks, Sherri!  Saw the tribute to us cancer folk and had to read.  My birthday is July 20th.  When I was 12 years old, man walked on the moon for the first time, so the moon-child aspect has great significance here.  Love those pictures of the crabs!  That's really kind of you to post all of them and offer this gift to all of us.  Blessings to you in Barbados…. (you aren't the same Sherri that Alan talks about are you?)

Another Moon Child/ Cancerian here!  Thanx for the tribute and also the adorable pictures.  It made me think of when my oldest son was just tiny and we would go blue-crabbing.  There was a spot we went to that was quite isolated and we would be greeted by about a million fiddler crabs.  My son, Derek, would go crazy chasing them around while we sat back and laughed and he made his little excited sounds - “Ooooh - OH! –ooooo - ooooo”  It was cute.

Hello fellow Cancers & Happy Birthday's to y'all!!!

Love, Ayla
