Where do you find the sacred in your life?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 07, 2009:
By going deep...
The superficial nature of the world which we live in isn't precious, isn't sacred. But yet it dominates our senses; takes up much of our time and mental space.
As a consequence, in order to be myself, authentic and loving, I have to consciously tune in; go deeper to the true Source and recognise that this is where Truth is really going on.
By accepting that what we see, hear and sometimes feel is nothing more than triggers for our deeper choices, we open our door for real connection with the divine, with all that is sacred in our existence.
Peace and love to all,
Sherrilene

Look deeply...

Help

Reading this helps me see that it is good to be our own counsel and on important issues in the world look within and come to our own conclusion through observation. I see looking deeply is actual more simple that remaining confused from some of the chaos thrown at us via the news. So I thank you for this.
YES ! going beyond the daily psycho-drama, connecting w/ Self, touching the truth, experiencing the reality of HumanBe-ing ! & Kes, thanks for the realisation that looking deeply IS actually more simple than remaining confused (on ALL levels as far as I can see) – so simple, yet still so elusive …
I love your blogs, Sherri ! Thanks for the Facebook link making it easy to stop by for a great read !
When we stay on the surface sometimes it all just feels confusing. When we dive deeper into intent and other variables we’re much more likely to have “ah ha!” moments. When we’re deep enough we start swimming there between the levels. Up and down with the waves we go. Eventually we can go to the deepest core or the shallowest surface and it’s the ease at which we swim that seems to make so much difference. Thank you, Sherri, for advocating the depths and the connection with the divine that we find there….
Confusion is exhausting and draining. Let’s try to stay free in the truth of the depths and the divine. Less ‘understanding’ and analysis necesssary.
Thank you for joining me here. I truly appreciate your divine = human comments.
Peace and love,
Sherrilene
YES! Thank you!
Lovely blog, thank you. It is so about hearing our ‘inner voice’, isn’t it. I love it when I really tune in and EVERYTHING starts to speak to me - from the way something may be blowing across the road, a passing thought, something a stranger says in the shop… that’s when the sense of Guru life and sacred oneness comes alive for me
big hug
Our inner light provides more light to us in everything. We live on its guidance. How could we ignore it in any moment. It helps us all the time. Thanks for the insight.
I can’t leave a wiser comment than my friend here Sherri. Depth is also sometimes linked to simplicity. When everything seems to speed up and there are too many options, sometimes it’s good to go for something simple and sometimes too that is not to do anything and just sit and watch. And then go within to see how this is reflected inside of us.
Our inner world are actually more important than THE WORLD. I know not eeryone might agree with me but if you start by creating peace inside, for example, in your inner world, then it will be reflected outside, in your own world. So going deep allows to make sure your inner world is in order before you start making a difference in the OUTER world.
That’s, I believe, another aspect of what Sherri is saying here. Do you agree Sherri?
Love to all of you and (hugs)
Thanks for coming by friends.
Yes, I am learning the power generated by attending to my inner world; the peace that can be generated in my space is huge! I must add, that inner conflict, left unchecked, also can manifest really strongly outwards, although unintentionally. I have had many experiences of people, not wanting to ‘upset’ anyone and holding their words in, but still disturbing their circles quite significantly. I for one, am highly highly sensitive to such situations and usually react physically in such settings. [I get really ill…]
For certain, our inner world is the only world we have any control over, isn’t it? But when attended to with love and care, it can grow, flourish and spill over into our outer, and help to create the kind of world we’d like to live in.
God bless you all!
Much love to you. Sherri

So true, Sherri - not speaking/acting on our truth, causes illness
big love
