To empty out the old, yes, but not throwing out the child with the water. Including old layers of identity. In Africa for example the Ubuntu principle on the way to modernization. in personal growth the paradoxes of reason and mystery on EVERY stage of development.

In general uplifting of healthy strata of identity. Consciousness isnt simply a white board or open space which can be programmed in any way. There are oscillating, vibrating strings with high density which require specific attention. Recently NYT journalist David Brooks gave two excellent examples with the Harlem Miracle and the Harvard Grant study which was a longitudinal approach to biografic change.

This is a complex 3D process. Lexi Neale just just described at kenwilber.com:

Introducing the AQAL Cube

The SDi Spiral is also a dynamic vortex in time and space. Not only collective systems, structures and holons are to be changed but the changemakers themselves are in this process.

So quality of life is highly multi dimensional and -as always- its about driving the engine, laying ther railways and improving the maps simultaneously:):)

Albert, I took it as Sherri not clinging to the material things, and from knowing Sherri I think she is on a journey ascending the golden spiral. where growth continues onwards and upwards to infinity. The spiral for me is integral with the universe and creation,  a simpler concept, but sometimes simplest is best, like using unconditional loving intention as our yardstick.

I did try reading that article Albert, but the writing on the diagrams was too small to decipher. I do have an open mind and am prepared to learn from all. I am not so sure that enlightenment is the end of our journey, but see it as a stage to yet more discovery, and new dimensions. It does seem very intellectual and many of our great leaders facilitating growth and change had the opposite skills of putting their ideas accross in the simplest fashion that we can all understand, I am thinking Ghandi, the Dalai Lama, Mother Theresa etc.

Hi friends. No I could never support throwing out the baby with the bath water… but perhaps the dirt that's getting scrubbed off?

There is a clean 'baby' under there that hasn't really had a chance to come out and play by universal, life-enhancing rules since the dominant rules of the game were of competition and consumption etc. i.e. destruction.

The human imperative to survive is giving an opportunity for us to 'come clean' and play, since destructive habits are not serving any of us holistically. But it will be a matter of how much effort we that know better, are prepared to put into bringing the new game into play, to decide how peacefully it emerges.

I like how Albert and Gael are peacefully 'dualling' from individual perspectives in recognising our differences but our shared intention. There is obviously no one direct route to where we are going, however our shared love for humanity and peaceful existence on this planet will continue drawing us back to our duty to share what we know. This is good!

I am learning that, depending on the audience, different methods of communication will work but yes, the language of leadership is not facts and figures, it is steadfastness and cause / purpose. Barack Obama didn't touch us with statistics, but with a creditable and shared vision… Let's keep this in thoughts but recognise the value of 'evidence' in a very intellectual environment we operate in as 'educated' people.

Peace and blessings to you and continued excellent, loving work.

Hi Sherri, yes education has a place, and I do value research, but often after all the research it boils down to something incredibly simple. Yes also to seing the present economic situation as an opportunity to rethink our values into something that will advance us spiritually as well as physically. Glad to see you are still around,
Peace and blessings, and continued excellent, loving work , to you too my friend

I want to add one thing strongly though, it is definitely a matter of willingness to play the new game first and foremost. If people want to make a contribution to the greater good, they are going to. No amount of reports and documents will do that; they will simply come on board and engage… law of nature - least effort. The others will run interference to keep things in their comfort space and basically waste your energies up. Please focus your energies on those persons that are moving with you, not against, as [y]our cause is VERY worthwhile and time well spent.

I am all over, Gael, by necessity. Lots of re-education to do everywhere.

Loving blessings, Sherri

Evolutionary Entrepreneurship: Engaging Collective Will

Zephyr,

indeed this article is a bit intellctual. However, to a ceertain degree models can be useful. They can empower and stretch imagination. There are pople who never need them. Others find it helpful.

In the process of mobilizing collective efforts on the planet it might be useful to have some models which put EVERYBODY on a place where it could make sense.

Beyond the dilemma of consensus vs. conflict.

Finding simply the connecting dynamics which creates a win win win. Like in Harvard Negotiation Project.

Thank you for that link, which i did read Albert, I do have a high IQ, and I am capable of comprehending, however the first cube diagrams, are still unreadable for me because the print is so small. However if as you say,  we want this to make sense and understandable by everybody, then for win win it has to be comprehended at all levels, including average and below. When I was nursing and trying to explain rationale to a student or patient my task was not to pitch the conversation in medical jargon and graphs, but to help them reach their own grasp and understanding of the road to health, if they understood they were far more likely to feel pride in their own achievements
and gain lasting benefits and growth. Often it was a case of sitting with them while they worked out rationale and choices for themselves, not imposing my opinions or view on them. It was far more rewarding to patiently reflect and let a student work out rationale for themselves and see them grow in skill and confidence, than to show them my way and expect them to copy.
